Special Request

Hello All--

I'm writing this post to ask that you all add Brittany, Kari's roommate at Craig to your prayers. Brittany is 17 years old and from Peoria, Illinois and suffered breaks of C4-C7 in a diving accident. She has use of her arms, but not her hands and has been sick the last few days with fever, nausea, coughing and nose bleeds. Please pray that God would restore her body and also calm her fears and anxiety. Please ask God to allow her to rest so that she can focus on her rehab. Please also pray for her mother Sonia who is staying here with her. Ask God to give her wisdom with how best to help Brittany and also that God would give her peace about being here in Colorado, far away from family and friends. It is obviously very easy for Kari to understand the frustration and anxiety that Brittany has and for me to understand how it feels to see your loved one in that situation, so naturally our hearts have gone out to our two new friends. I ask that you would lift them up in prayer every time you remember to do the same for us.

Aaron.

We'll absolutely lift your new friends up in prayer as well. I know that God will use both you and Kari to minister to them as He loves on you and lifts you both up! Love you guys. Still praying,
Adam

Brittany is now officially "on my list." How scared her mom must be. Please share with both of them that the Morris-Guzman prayer team has adopted them both!

We love you and are continually praying for you, Kari and Aaron! Now God is using you both to minister to these others around you even as you are being ministered to. This is a beautiful picture and only the beginning of God using this and blessing you in unimaginable ways!
You and Brittany are being prayed for!
love,
Heather and Tim

Dear Aaron and Kari,
It kind of brings you up short to realize that, even now, we don't have a monopoly on great pain in the world. Brittany and her Mom are also on my heart and in my prayers. I look forward to meeting them when I come.
Love, Alice/Mom

Aaron,
We will add Brittany and her family to our prayers which include you, Kari and your families. Your story about Brittany reminds us that we MUST thank God EVERY day for our good health - we must not take for granted what we have at this minute. This makes us realize that everyone there at Craig has their own story, their own sadness, their own struggles. I see you have a mission larger than what your realized when you stepped into Craig.

God bless you all,
Laurie Haessly
