August Happenings!

Hello dear friends,

Tomorrow Aaron and I leave for my re-evaluation at Craig.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone that helped us through that very difficult time in our lives.
Our trip up the coast to Oregon was great!  We got see Daleasha and Gene and their family.  We also saw John and Cyndi (my sister) and John’s family.  We had a blast. (  Aaron took some great pictures that are posted in the previous blog.  He’s a great photographer. Feel free to comment on them!
After we return from Craig next weekend, Aaron begins school.  And I will register for school!  I’m so excited to finish my degree.  If everything goes as planned, I will graduate in December.  And THEN, we are leaving for Chicago to participate in Aaron’s best friend’s wedding over Labor Day weekend.  On that Sunday we are going to church in St. Charles.  If you’re in the area, you are welcome to come!  Worship time is 10 AM. The church address is:
St. Charles Free Methodist Church
214 Walnut St.
St. Charles, IL 60174
Phone: 630-584-1906
Pastors: Derin Fowler and Emily Holverson

After church that day you are invited to an open house/ get-together thingy at the Yessa’s home in Elgin beginning at 2 PM.  For details/directions please email Alice Guzman (Aaron’s mom) at alice.guzman@sbcglobal.net.

Please pray for us as we journey to Craig tomorrow.  We’re driving.

Lots of love to all of you-
Kari

Dear Kari and Aaron,
I'm writing to you two after seeing your story in the Press a few weeks back. It sounds like you two have been through alot which brings me to my question. I have a dear friend "Judy Ackel", which is my husband's best friends wife, that had a brainstem stroke last year at the age of 39. It had been rough for them and their family and I was wondering if you could not write to them via internet (she also has a website http//judyackel.com) with some of your inspirational thoughts..It sounds like you would be a blessing to befriend one another in your journey to recovery..thank you for reading my message and I wish you two a fantastic weekend--Dabber and Tracy Prince

Aaron and Kari,
Hope all went well at your evaluation and other outings. We look forward to hearing an update. We also hope everything is going well with the addition of Poly to Aaron's schedule. Can only imagine how happy the kids will be that he is there now! Touching even more lives - something you both do so well.
Take care and God Bless,
The Blevins family
