Hello all—
Quick update to the last blog. Kari woke up again around 4:30 and has been yelling out a mix of words and sounds constantly since. Most of what she says doesn’t make sense and most of it is just a mix of syllables, not actual words. The only words that she says consistently are “help me.” The nurse and respiratory therapist came in to check her vitals, which all look good, so they are calling her main doctor to see how we should proceed. Thank you for praying at this time.
It’s about 8:30 now, and Kari is still not able to think or speak clearly. Her hands, feet and shoulder are also swollen. Vital signs look good, but she is still yelling out words and syllables every few minutes.
Aaron.

Cyndi and I are praying.
Love you and miss you both.

We're praying hard. We love you both so much and hurt when you do. Thanks for the honesty and letting us know how things really are. It helps us pray more specifically. We're near and spirit - just wishing we could shoulder some of the pain.
We love you,
Joy and Nate
Dear Kari + Aaron,
I am here and the prayers continue. I just got an email from Derin, and people will be gathering at the church tonight to prayer for Kari, as we will tomorrow morning.
I have seen in myself, and in others there are time is the course of healing that God takes us "outside of reality" to help us heal. I see much progress with the new power chair, and it certainly has come from much effort and pain on Kari's part. Continuing to strive to do God's will actually can accumlate, the stress and pain, and produce such a result. Kari has seen it happen in me, and seen me heal.
You, Aaron, are with little if any sleep now. My prayers of of confidence and encouragement. Things still suck.
I just assure any "victory" Kari has already achieve will be returned to her, and you, in God's time.
Love/Peace/Strength,
Charlie +
Aaron,
First thing I thought of after reading today's updates is when our kids were little and they'd get delirious from running high fevers. I'm praying that what's going on in Kari's body- trying to get rid of something and the "fever" will soon break. We are holding you both close in prayer-
Love,
KT
Aaron,
My family and I are praying hard for you and Kari right now.
I thank God every day that you are her husband and are there for her.
Tell Kari I love her soooo much and I miss her too!
I'm praying for a miracle, even a "small" one!

Hi,Aaron&Kari:So sorry to read you're going through an especially tough time. Thanks for sharing your prayer needs.I'm glad you're looking at Psalms.David expressed every possible human emotion, and was close enough to the Lord to know he could bring Him even his darkest thoughts and fears. God loves us so much,I know He doesn't turn His back on us when we question how all the bad stuff fits into the big plan.I'm praying for both of you,and for wisdom for Kari's doctors. May you be able to rest in Him. Jesus never fails, and He is able to carry any burden, no matter how large. Love, Diane B.
Aaron and Kari,
We're praying hard for you, as only our Lord knows what is going on--may the pain soon ease and healing come to Kari's mind. We pray for those tense muscles that they may strengthen enough to relax! God be close to you both!

We have been on the road and having just returned home were glad to be able to catch up.
Now, Aaron, I wish we were close enough to wrap my arms around you in an effort to comfort you. I can only try to imagine the fear and anxiety you and Kari must be experiencing.
God is there with you and the love that is flowing throughout the world for you is powerful. Let it bring you some peace when Kari is sleeping and resting and strength when she is struggling. You are both in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Mom Barrett
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, now and always.
