Travel Update

Dear friends-

Aaron and I have been in Illinois for almost 3 weeks.  We left CA on Dec. 10 and arrived in IL on the 13th. Bryan’s visitation was the next day- approx. 1000 people came through.  On Fri. we had Bryan’s memorial service- attended by over 500 people.  The memorial service was wonderful- it lasted just over 2 hours.  I’ll write more about that later.
For now, please pray for Aaron and I and Dan (Aaron’s brother) as we drive back to CA. We are leaving tomorrow- stopping in Omaha to see my family.  The weather is supposed to be horrendous- so please pray for our safety.  We plan to be back in CA by Mon. Jan. 1.
Thanks for praying-
Kari.

Urgent Prayer Needed

Dear Friends-
I have some very sad news.  Aaron’s brother, Bryan, was killed this morning. He just turned 21 on Dec. 4.  I have very few details.  He was found in Lake Michigan (Chicago) at 9:30 AM.  He was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.  Our family went to see him.  I have no funeral information.  Aaron and I are flying out probably tomorrow to Chicago.  Please please pray for our family.  This is absolutely devastating.  It’s too much.  Immediate family names: Richard (father), Alice (mother), Linda (step-mother), Rick (brother), Desiree (sister-in-law), Dan (brother), Aaron and I, and Katie (Bryan’s girlfriend). Please pray.
Kari.

we are back on the Web!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all still periodically checking the web site.  It was down for a few days, but all of our problems seem to have been ironed out.  I will write a more complete update in a couple of weeks.  But for now, I am bogged down finishing up my semester so I can graduate in two weeks.  I am currently writing a 20 page research paper.  How thankful I am for our voice activated software!  We are doing well-but are very, very busy.  Aaron has several concerts over the next couple of weeks, so he is very busy arranging music, and getting his musical groups into shape.

I want to share about our trip to Oregon over Thanksgiving, but for now that must wait!  Now I must get back to my paper.

Love, Kari
