Travel Update

Dear friends-

Aaron and I have been in Illinois for almost 3 weeks.  We left CA on Dec. 10 and arrived in IL on the 13th. Bryan’s visitation was the next day- approx. 1000 people came through.  On Fri. we had Bryan’s memorial service- attended by over 500 people.  The memorial service was wonderful- it lasted just over 2 hours.  I’ll write more about that later.
For now, please pray for Aaron and I and Dan (Aaron’s brother) as we drive back to CA. We are leaving tomorrow- stopping in Omaha to see my family.  The weather is supposed to be horrendous- so please pray for our safety.  We plan to be back in CA by Mon. Jan. 1.
Thanks for praying-
Kari.

Dear Kari and Aaron,
We hope you have made it back to California safely. I am sure the trip was not an easy one with all of the blizzards. We have been praying for your safe journey. Please let us know you are home.
Take care.

Dear Kari and Aaron, we hope you were able to miss the blizzards in Colorado! We are still in shock about Bryan and pray to God that He give you strength to face yet another challenge. Keep in touch. We love you!

Hey Kari and Aaron.

I am very sorry to hear about Bryan.. he was such an amazing person. I'm sure that this has got to be absolutely heartwrenching to deal with.

I hope you made it home safely.

Kari, I am glad to hear about how well you are doing now. I hadn't checked this website in some time but hearing about Bryan reminded me of you. You are such an amazing woman to have made it through everything that you have; incredibly strong and truly an inspiration to me, even still. The words of encouragement you spoke to me when I was a camper at young teen camp have never really left me and I wish I could say something equally powerful for you.

Just know that many people are still praying for you and that you are loved.
