In case you're bored...

...you may take some time to look at and listen to various things Aaron and I have done. The first two links are concerning our "hero" and "saltshaker" status I mentioned a few blogs ago. Cut and paste these into your browser! Enjoy!

1. This is Aaron's "hero" article. I think he's the 7th hero down on the list:

2. This is my interview from Light and Life magazine:

3. These 4 videos are from Marina Christian Fellowship in LA. I preached there on Dec. 16 with my friend Trisha. I only linked my portion of the sermon here. There were 7 segments--I preached segments 3, 4, 5, 7. Those are listed below.
The point of my sermon was finding joy in the midst of suffering. The message is very personal as I talk about our accident and Bryan's death. It is about 25 minutes long for all 4 segments.
Thanks everyone!

Kari,

You need to meet my friend Erin, who is currently living in Redlands. The two of you would love each other. I'll send her a link to your blog. She's also one of my facebook friends (Erin Maddox McPhee).

Grace and Peace to you,
Erin

Hi Kari -

I keep checking the blog every once and awhile and just followed the link to your interview with Light and Life. For some reason it just made me cry... I think because I am so touched and impressed by you. I know it's God's strength and grace displayed, but thank you for being such a beautiful vessel. I can't tell you how many times I think of you - Your life is a wonderful encouragement to me. Thank you.

Just thought that you'd like to know that we are still keeping up on your activities. Kendra is awaiting the second little Gohr in June, and Larkin is engaged to Jack Kinsella, who plays tuba in the Air Force Reserve Band in Peoria and teaches band. Guess it's in the Barrett blood!
Blessing on you two.Love, Mom and Dad Barrett
