Angels among us

Kari had her tracheotomy today and is doing much better.  She's more alert now that she is not fighting the tube going down her throat, and she can communicate much more easily.  She told her Mom today that when she was under the car she had a vision of two angels craddling her neck.  Aaron and one of her nurses also report that they have felt Kari squeeze their hands back with her right hand.  How large the world is that operates behind the everyday world we usually sense.
Aaron reports that he is leaning towards moving Kari back to California for her rehab.  He will fly there in a day or so to check out rehab centers.  We will travel back to Denver this Thursday and spend the weekend there.  Many others have come and gone, and many plan trips to wherever Kari rehabs to help support both her and Aaron.  Please pray for travelling mercies for all involved.  What comes to mind now is Jacob's vision of a ladder to heaven and angels travelling up and down on it, so that the going to and fro that we see with our eyes is dwarfed by the flow and travelling in a spiritual world we seldom see.  Think of that spiritual world, God's vast spirit and God's legion of angels, focused on that small area of the fifth vertebra.  It is an awesome, healing thought.

I have no doubt that Kari was in the presence of angels when she was under the car. The Lord loves her more than we can possibly imagine.

I am so happy that Kari is doing better after her tracheotomy.

Paul and I think of and pray for Kari, Aaron, and their families throughout the day. I'm sure there are thousands of prayers being sent God's way each day--and that He hears them and will answer them in His time.

Thank you, Richard, for your daily updates and spiritual insights, which are so helpful and important to everyone reading this website.

Sincerely,

Colleen Josephson (Christina Beatty's mom)

Dear Mr. Guzman,
Thank you so much for your updates. I check daily to see what needs to be prayed for specifically. We are praying for Aaron and his decision about rehab facilities and for peace and comfort for him and the rest of the family.
What wonderful news that the trache is helping Kari relax and communicate!
Praise Him from Whom all blessings flow,
Kathy

Aaron: my brother was in a place called Casa Colina out here in Southern California when he had his spinal cord injury--- they were wonderful!

It sounds as if those angels are holding you all tightly! We continue our prayers, and we give thanks for the friends who are supporting you. Blake, you are an angel to be there with your skills, making this service of words possible. Aaron and Kari, let the Lord hold you in His arms.
Love, Again, Mom Barrett
