Waiting--Part 2

...Sorry, but my hand strayed for a moment and my posting for tonight got sent before it was finished.  Ironic, since I was talking about waiting.  Things could become clear at any moment, I suppose, but not today.  We are told to wait on the Lord.  Sometimes this seems to put us in a floating, limbo world, but we feel that behind this world something is being directed, pieces are being put together.  Pray that Aaron, especially, will have ears to hear and eyes to see when some guidance emerges from this waiting time.  Pray that Kari feels a purpose and direction taking form behind these hours and hours of waiting.

Dear Mr. Guzman,
We so appreciate your updates. I know this is a very difficult, exhausting and trying time for your entire family. My heart goes out to you. With all the prayers for your family I know the Lord will give you the guidance you need.

Our prayers will be for Aaron, too, that his mind and heart will calm so he can hear what is right when he makes the difficult decisions that lay ahead.

Are you still waiting to decide the general location for Kari's rehab? Does Aaron still need to decide if the care for Kari will best be in California or Nebraska?

I know you will give us additional specifics as they become pertinent for our prayers. May God comfort you.

To the Guzman and Morris families,

I was shocked to receive the news in my email this morning that Aaron and Kari (and all those close to them) suffered this tragedy.

Though I have never known Kari, my heart and prayers go out to you all - I am certain as Aaron's life partner she is a wonderful person, may you all be strong in body and soul as she recovers.

I am so sorry to hear of this event, I will put Aaron and Kari on my family's prayer list.

Dear Mr. Guzman,

My name is Tyler Boyer and my wife and I know Kari from her time at Greenville College. We were so sorry to hear about this tragic accident. Please know that you are all in our prayers daily. May God the provider strengthen and sustain you in your wilderness of waiting. May God bless and heal.

Dear Mr. Guzman and family,
We are so sorry to hear of this tragedy that Kari, Aaron and your family are going through. My husband attended classes with Kari at APU and we went to Brookside for a short time. We have resently moved to Michigan, and I just wanted to let you know that we, our relatives and our church family here are praying for you all. God Bless you and your family,
Amy Davis

Dear Aaron, Ron and I are praying both day and night for you and Kari. Not an hour goes by that you're not in our thoughts. We thank God that you are both alive after such a horrendous accident. You two are so strong and such fighters, if there is anyone who can make it through this, it's you guys. We love you.

This morning, as I was praying, these words kept coming to mind: "they will soar with wings,as eagles." I couldn't remember the rest of the verse, so I went to to look it up. The first thing I saw was the verse of the day:

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.(Isaiah 40:28-29 KJV)

Then, a couple of verses down:

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

We too, will wait upon or "serve" the Lord as we continue to lift you all up in prayer.
